Conservation of the birds

The lagoon of Yahuarcocha, besides being a tourist attraction, houses some species of birds, according to studies has been counted about 25 species of birds, of which some are native and other migratory that arrive from Canada and the United States. There are two predominant birds that are the white heron and the black ducks.
